In the newest episode of Gossip Girl, Chuck uses his powers to prove that he is still very much a threat to Blair and Dan’s relationship!
Proving, yet again, that his charm is no match for Blair’s strength, Chuck (Ed Westwick) convinces ex Blair (Leighton Meeser) to accompany him when the pair meet on the Street, leaving poor Dan lonely boy (Penn Badgley) to wonder where she is.
In the meantime, Dan, who has just turned down a job in a prestigious writing programme in Italy, asks Blair to spend the summer there with him anyway. But she’s torn over plans for her future and as always between the two men in her life and ends up in desperate need of the services of her stunning best friend Serena (Blake Lively) to be her stand-in at an important meeting, when she finds herself royally double booked.
Chuck is up to no good, as usual, and has teamed up with Ivy (Kaylee DeFur) and Lola (Ella Rae Peck) to work on a personal vendetta project, with a question hanging over the use of a pair of handcuffs given to him by Blair, and Nate (Chace Crawford) finally comes to a conclusion about his life with Diana…..but will Lola be happy with it?>
“The Fugitives”, which is the penultimate episode of Gossip Girl season 5, will air Monday, May 7 at 8/7c on The CWin the US, and will air on UK TVs on ITV2, 28th May.
